Sayville VFW Post 433 member Joe Franzosa has been awarded a certificate of appreciation for all is amazing work with our "Buddy" Poppy Campaign.  The award was presented by Post Commander Bill Borthwick during our last monthly meeting.

 

The VFW Buddy Poppy program provides compensation to the veterans who assemble the poppies, provides financial assistance in maintaining state and national veterans' rehabilitation and service programs and partially supports the VFW National Home For Children.  Joe as been istrumental in organizing Post 433 Buddy Poppy drive in our town and at many county events.
